• Made in the USA at our warehouse in Southern California. We apply the art by hand to each cut panel of fabric before sewing. That's why you won't find apparel with this level of detail anyplace else. You can't feel our art and with proper care it will stay vibrant and vivid for years! We love making a quality product that will help you achieve your personal best.
With proper care, your INKnBURN apparel will stay vivid and vibrant for years!
Wash on Cool or Warm. Do not use a detergent that contains bleach, whiteners or brighteners! Fabric softener is fine as long as it doesn't contain a bleach or brightener as well. Our colors will stay vivid and bright for years if you avoid any type of bleach. The dryer is fine for INB apparel and you can use dryer sheets, if you like. We recommend the permanent press setting that is warm, without being too hot. If you remove your apparel from the dryer while still warm, you should never need an iron. If you do want a more pressed look, you can use a cool iron.
Please avoid washing your INB apparel with any velcro or coarse fabrics. The tiny holes, that allow our fabric to breath, will catch on materials like this and potentially snag. We can also not be responsible for damage caused by products worn over our apparel that might damage the fabric or the art on it.
I love all the shorts! I have the denim ones, leaf, and ying yang! They are amazing shorts, short enough to be cute but enough coverage for all workouts!!!! Every Christmas it's the one thing I ask my hubby for! I can't wait to get the black lace shorts and feather shorts!!! Omg so cute!!!! So comfortable! So light and airy I also have the light blue fitted shorts with purple flower tops fold over and they are so cute as everyday and workout they look so cute and don't ride up!!! audry majtyka on Sep 3rd 2016
I wear these shorts so often I'm sure my running club and gym is beginning to wonder if I own anything else. They fit perfectly and feel fabulous! They actually coordinate with so many of my other InB tops. Love these so much! Anneke on Jul 24th 2016
So I rarely wear running shorts - I prefer tights, capris, and skirts. However, I bought my first pair of INKnBURN shorts and I am hooked. I tend to wear them more for yoga and strength training because I am rebuilding my running - but I LOVE how these fit and how well they go with EVERYTHING! The hidden pockets are an added bonus.
I size up in these over my capri/skirt/tights - one to two sizes depending on how tight I want the fit. Unknown on May 27th 2016
I haven't gotten a chance to wear these up in Wisconsin yet, but I'm gonna. I just love the design and the name. To me, it reminds me of the line that says, "and they sewed fig leaves together for clothing." I'll remember that when I run. ;)
I have used them inside for workouts and they're great! Very comfy and they don't move around like some other ones that you don't tie. Andy on Apr 1st 2016
The print is great and the cut is really flattering. They are sized somewhat small - I usually take a size Small or Medium, but because this brand always runs a bit small, I bought a 10 and it fits perfectly. I can't wait for the next great print - I like them exotic. Jayne Mazziotti on Mar 28th 2016
First the details about me: 5 ft 2 inches, 125lbs, with an athletic build. I'm road/trail runner and I average 40-60 miles per week. I gave this product a 4 but it's probably more a 4.5 and that's only because I had to settle for a size down from what I wanted.
I got the shorts and they looked bright and vivid right out of the box. So no false previews online. The shorts were true to size based on measurements. I wear a size 2 and that's what I ordered. But just like they said online, if you want a loser fit, go up a size (they were out of size 4's). In terms of fit, they were perfect in the waist and seat, but just a tad snug along the front at my quads (thus me thinking a 4 would be perfect). Still, not a problem. Last item on fit, if you're shy about inseam, these have a short inseam, so be prepared to fall in love with your thighs, because you can see a lot of them. As a side note, my husband is totally supportive of the fit of these shorts.
I've worn them twice, once for a short test 6 miler and again for my weekend 24 miler. Not disappointed either time. The shorts fit so they don't rise up around the inside of my thighs, the waistband isn't so snug that I get pressure in my lower GI region (like some of my tights), and the material is fabulous. I ran the 24 miler in 75 degree weather with high humidity and while my husband who was wearing another brand of running shorts was soaked and dripping water from his shorts, I was completely comfortable. I have no idea how this technology works, but it keeps the shorts dry and there's no awkward "wicking" of moisture into the crotch and seat region which seems to happen with some of my other shorts (I'm always a hit at post-run brunch).
I tried the shorts with underwear and again with just the built in liner. Go with just the liner. I did this for my 24 miler and everything stayed put. No unattractive digging things out of places that nature never intended such thing to go. While I did use body glide in all the usual places, I didn't notice any irritating seems, hot spots, or chaffing.
Last thing, because the shorts are just a tad snug for me along the front of the thigh, I didn't play with using the front pockets, although I suspect they would be fine. That being said, with the waistband of the shorts being so wide, it might be fun to play with adding some concealed pockets in the waistband, similar to the flip belt I have. With the flip belt, it sometimes rides up during the run but if I could stow gels/keys in the waistband of these shorts . .. that would be very useful. Alternatively, a waterproof, zippered pocket on the back would be fun.
Overall, I would recommend these to fellow runners. The only piece I haven't tested is durability. These shorts are a tad on the expensive side, but if they can last through a couple of my training seasons, I'll be completely sold on the brand. If the weather accommodates, I'm hoping to wear them to my 50K trail race this weekend. Colleen Lawrence on Mar 15th 2016
In love with my leaf shorts. I like the new material. So bright and realistic looking. Fit perfect and goes with everything. Unknown on Mar 6th 2016
The new leaf shorts are stunning! I love the deep greens. They are comfortable and durable. I can even fit my IPhone in the pockets! I feel great when I wear these beautiful running shorts! Tasha on Feb 11th 2016
The quality is excellent. I love the style and fit. Unknown on Dec 18th 2015
I wore my "New Leaf" shorts for the first time to do a 5K. They are so comfortable--no riding up, no chafing. I got compliments on the look and fit from strangers! So fun to feel fashionable! Patricia on Nov 10th 2015
