Why would we make a marathon shirt with so many out there? We wanted to do one that was really unique and different. Using the numbers as art to create a design on the shirt was the start. We also added texture via the art that gives the shirt a soft, cotton look... though it is actually the same cool, amazing feeling tech fabric as all our shirts. Last, we made the shirt get darker towards the bottom to make the colors pop, (and make the shirt more flattering on any body type). This shirt was created from a photo by ultra runner, Glenn Tachiyama of Seattle. He began running 32 years ago to build up atrophied muscles after getting the cast off from a broken foot. He quickly discovered that he loved running and went on to do 100's of marathons. Adding trail running to his regime took him to amazingly beautiful places so, he started bringing along a disposable camera. Now he never runs without a camera of some sort, often shoots races and even shoots while running them!
